Sticker sizes
Also called: シール, label
Stickers have no national standard sizes. Print shops let you pick a diameter or side length in steps of 5–10 mm, and accept any other size above a minimum. What matters more than the size is how the sticker is cut.
A kiss-cut sticker is cut through the vinyl only, leaving the backing sheet square; a die-cut sticker is cut through the backing as well, so the whole piece follows the shape. Either way, artwork must extend past the cut line — one Korean printer, for example, takes a 50 mm round kiss-cut sticker as a 54 mm file — so a slightly off-centre cut does not leave a white rim.
Small stickers lose a large share of their area to safe margins. On a 30 mm circle, keeping 3 mm clear on every side leaves a 24 mm circle for text, which is why so many sticker designs are a single logo.
There is no national standard size for this product; every print shop sells its own sizes. The sizes below are common examples — download the template from the shop you order from before you start.

Bleed is how far artwork must extend past each trim edge; safe is how far inside the trim line text and logos should stay. Print shops ask for slightly different values, so always follow the file guide of the shop you order from.
